Also in WWII troops noticed how the tape was waterproof likes a duck, hence, duck tape.

I freaking love duct tape. Im not sure i can say much more. it can be used for anyting! cooling systems, underwear, taping a hostages mouth shut... the possilitys are endless. with out duct tape, where would we be today? DEAD. DEAD, I SAY. oh, and about that duck or duct thing, it really is duct. the creators originally ment for it to be used in ducts and it worked, so, duct tape. overall, best stuff ever.
